We showed our first slideshow during FUAGNEM tonight.
Our wonderful photographers have been working hard to capture every moment of the trip... they've gathered a few shots from the week and put 'em together for the students to see tonight!

We thought you all would like to see it too...

All the picture shown here (and hundreds more!) are available to order on CD.
They will be mailed out after the trip, these pictures are a great way to show family, friends, youth groups, and churches all the amazing things God has been doing here in Guatemala!

Students ordering on the trip can pre-order the CD for $35
After July 12th the CD will be available for $45.
All the proceeds raised by the sale of the cd's are going towards missions in Ecuador next year.

Dear Parents, Friends and Family...

We want to let you all know that we are posting as much as possible and as quickly as possible, but we have limited access to wireless internet, tons of pictures to process and limited time to actually post. We promise all is going incredibly well and God is moving miraculously, not only in the lives of Guatemalans but also in your teens' lives! Many of you may have heard via Facebook that we slept through a tiny earthquake last night - there was no damage and it was so small that it was barely even felt. We just wanted to make sure that everyone at home knew that there was no cause for alarm :) Thank you for your prayers and support! As we are able, we will continue updating the blog as much as we can in the midst of these busy schedules!

2nd Ministry day...

Well, we made it through the first day! And now the second!

Teams went out and did work projects, preformed their dramas, talked and prayed with people... and of course... ate Peanut Butter and Jelly! (our main course for lunch every day out on the field) So far everyone seems to be enjoying the delectable sandwiches, we'll see how excited they are about them next week ;)

Our photographers got to go out with teams 2, 3, and 5 today... here are some of the moments they were able to capture...

Terrific Team 2 were the lucky ones to head out across the lake for their ministry day today.
They also had the privilege of sharing their drama and ministering to the people of another local village.

Team 5 got to head over to a huge orphanage for the day. There they got a tour of the facilities, played soccer and other games with the kids, did their drama, some helped cook lunch for the kids, and then dove into a pretty crazy work project for the orphanage director. They needed gravel hauled up some super steep hills for part of a building project. They are working hard to add another building on the grounds so they can house more children.
